The Voice Workshop Somatic Voicework™ Teacher Training Programs are currently being conducted in four locations: at Shenandoah Conservatory of Music in Winchester, Virginia for levels one, two and three, at Olivet Nazarene University, Bourbonnais, IL, Mini Level One, at University of Mass. at Dartmouth, Level One, and at Albion College, Albion, Michigan, Level One. At Shenandoah Conservatory, the Contemporary Commercial Music Vocal Pedagogy Institute features Somatic Voicework™. The Institute offers a three level program during nine days each summer, usually in the end of July, at the Shenandoah campus in Winchester, Virginia. In 2007 Level one will be July 26-28, Level Two July 28-31 and Level three July 31-August 3. Each of the three levels of Somatic Voicework™ offers optional certification and degree credit at the graduate level and each is open to all who teach or would like to teach or work with singers of Contemporary Commercial Music (all non-classical styles), as well as to those who wish to sing these styles. Vocal Pedagogy Institute at Shenandoah University

The first and only vocal pedagogy course offering graduate credit for contemporary commercial music (CCM) (music theater, jazz, pop, rock, Gospel, R &B, folk, country, rap and experimental, is available at Shenandoah Conservatory of Music in July and August of 2008 with Level One, July19-21, Level Two, July22-24 and Level Three, July 25-27. Panel on Contemporary Commercial Music

On June 4, 2006, the very first panel discussion on Contemporary Commercial Music was held at the Voice Foundation, in Philadelphia PA, with representatives from Voice Science, Voice Medicine, Speech Pathology, Music Theatre and Jazz and was an outstanding sucess.
